Ear wax removal with Aural Microsuction
Regarded as the “Gold Standard” for ear wax removal.
Welcome to Hear Me Now North Wales
Jenny is a Registered General Nurse, qualified for over 30 years who trained in Aural Microsuction at Charing Cross Hospital. Jenny has a varied clinical background, including working as a General Practice Nurse for the past 6 years.
Within this role she used to perform ear irrigation (sometimes referred to as “ear syringing”) for ear wax removal, however this service is no longer widely offered in GP surgeries and Aural Microsuction is now regarded as the “Gold Standard” for ear wax removal. Aural Microsuction is not routinely offered on the NHS but is available in a variety of private settings.
While ear wax is normal and healthy, many people suffer from impacted or excess build-up of ear wax which can lead to problems including:
- Tinnitus or reduced hearing
- A “full” sensation in the ear
- Itching in the ear
- Discharge from ear
- Ear pain
- Coughing
These symptoms can have a huge impact on quality of life.
Performed by a suitably qualified professional, Aural Microsuction is a relatively safe, quick and effective method of ear wax removal. Very few GP surgeries now offer wax removal. Jenny decided to train in Aural Microsuction because there is a demand for ear wax removal and she wanted to be able to provide a safe, professional service, focusing on high quality care.

Customer Reviews

Highly Recommended
Jenny was very professional and took time to explain the procedure and reassure me. This was much quicker and less unpleasant than ear irrigation, which I have had in the past.

Wish I had done it sooner
I had suffered problems with reduced hearing for quite some time and my GP surgery no longer provided ear wax removal. I wish I had had this done sooner by Jenny.

Quick and Painless
Jenny was caring and put me at ease before the procedure. I will definitely use her clinic again if needed, the improvement was brilliant and has made a big difference.
